Kenny and Brian
Monday-Friday 6am -10am
Kenny Sherman: Weekdays 6am-10am. Poo-Pie started following radio at a young age. Momma Sherman said Kenny would stand over the record player watching 45's spin around until his neck cramped. The Shermanator got his first crack at the mic in the armed forces in the late 70's when he met a retired Captain with a mobile DJ service. After three years in the service Kenny came back to Roseburg, signed on at KQEN, and the rest is history. Kenny enjoys sports, the Raiders, Dodgers, and professional wrestling. Kenny also enjoys hunkering down with some NASCAR.
Brian Prawitz: Weekdays 6am-10am. Brian submitted his bio in crayon, so here goes nothing! Brian Prawitz is the greatest Schmoozer in the history of the mindsock. Other than that, he is in his second stint in Douglas County Radio. After starting his career at Brooke Communications in 1993 Brian moved his young family to Missoula, Montana, then to his dream job on 710 KIRO in Seattle. After three years in Seattle Brian and his wife Jannie moved back to Roseburg to raise their three daughters in a more relaxed environment. Brian is active in local service clubs and his church and fancies himself a decent "hack woodworker" and still has all ten fingers. Brian also has more awards for News excellence including the 2003 Oregon Association of Broadcasters Sports Announcer of the Year award.
Rachelle Carter: Weekdays 10am-2pm.
NAME: My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Kyle Bailey- 2pm-7pm
Kyle was born in Roseburg 40 something years ago. After being in radio in the Portland area for several years, Kyle made a "short term" move to Roseburg and has never gone back! Besides being on COOL-FM, Kyle is Program Director for sister station KQEN, and is Production Director for all of our stations. Kyle is firmly planted in the community. He emcee's the Riverbend Live concerts and serves on that committee. He's also on the Roseburg City Parks Commission and has served on various committees for United Way. And to keep his weekend's hopping, he is the sound guy for a church band. Kyle is married, has two kids, a mortgage, one "soccer mom mini-van" and a pickup. His favorite food group is espresso, which he considers "the fruit of the nectar of the sacred bean".

Keep up to date with News Director Brian Prawitz
